Has any body signed the petition yet that is about wanting better care and better therepies for diabetics. I signed this petition today and also the one to help protect endangered species. We need new and safer therepies available for us. Some of the meds we take now doesn't work forever and they have unsafe side effects. Let your voice be heard. Stand up for our cause. Sign that petition. It's http://healthefda.com Let's not take this laying down.

Amy posted this too a week or longer ago. I signed then and many signatures were still needed to reach the goal of 20,000. I agree with you and Amy and wish everyone would take the time to sign this much needed petition. Take care, Angie

I signed the petition but I do have some hesitations.
We continually complain because the FDA pushes some medicines thru only to find that the side effects are worse than what they treat. So while I do support more research and better treatments. I don't support blanket approvals just to have something new to line the pharmasutical pockets and taint our care providers views of treatments.

Good thought. Sometimes it seems like nothing new is in the works and that research is just at a stand still. Other times it is as if things are just flying by, helter-skelter, and we are just guinea pigs. I guess time will tell on this one as well.

yep but it is brought to the top again for those who didn't know. For instance I didn't know till I was doing some research. Because I am a big supporter of the diabetes education for all movement.
