Diabetic Nueropathy, is it controllable?

For those that have diabetic nueropathy what is that your doctor does help you control it? Is it even controllable?

my doctor put me on neurontin to help with the pain! there is another that i can't spell, that i understand works better. someone else will be able to tell you what it is!

My doctor put me on Lyrica, because neurontin made me crazy. It helps with the pain but the best way to prevent it is to be in control and exercise, and if you have it already is to find something that works. Ask the doctor they can help with your decision.
