My 2 year old son has been diagnosed with diabetes. He is still at the stage where he is swallowing his toothpaste. Any idea on which toothpaste would be safe for him?

Not knowing the answer from the top of my head I queried Google for "safe toothpaste for diabetes" and received this warning which may perplex you ~ This site holds that the toothpaste you put in your son's hand should not be flouridated. They list a numbr of problems for those who ingest flouridated toothpaste.

I say it is perplexing since the large majority of the toothpastes readily available in stores contain Flouride.

Querying Google for "toothpaste without flouride" I came upon this consumer guide to on that subject You can find that article here ~

Happy hunting!
