I was told today that reoccurring hypoglycemic events can set in dementia at a younger age. Has anyone heard about this?

yes, I heard of it, but the cases need to be very extreme.
In other words the person is probably way out of control;

Looks like the study was focused around older people with Type 2. I didn't see anything about low blood sugars in younger people with Type 1.
