I got an e-mail from Every Day Health, Subject Healthy Aging, today's date (April 7, 2014) the subject is 6 Foods Nutrition Experts Won't Eat. There's another section contained in it that also should be read, RELATED LINK: 8 Things in Your Garbage That You Should Be Eating. I wasn't surprised at any of the information that I found in the 2 articles, as I'd been hearing about all of it - well not the onion skins - that did surprise me - for years now. I just wanted to share with you all.

I use onion and garlic skins in my stocks, so that is good. I zest my citrus and keep it for cooking. I would only eat a home grown watermelon rind, as they are usually coated from the store. But I have candied them before, but not eaten them raw. My dogs like them though. Those were both good lists.
