Does anyone use supplements for weight loss
Or the HCG injections
And if so how has it worked for you.

I had a friend who tried the HCG system and while she did loose weight, once she was off the injections, it all came back with a vengeance.

For me I find one of the hardest things is two drink water. They say we should drink half our weight every single day.. The thought of it makes me ill. But I know it works because you are hydrating your body, your skin and much more. It help you to be regular/constpation.

You must use caution with over hydration as it eliminates the salts in your body and you need some salt to function. It can be very harmful.

huh? that's a bit much. at 160 lbs. I'd need to drink about 10 gallons (160 cups) a day?
IIRRC, the old recommendation was 8 cups a day

If pills and shots worked there would be no overweight people and they would cost a fortune to buy a hand full I have tried a lot of them in past only to realize this read the bottles or boxes fine print it says to be used with diet and exersize routines so why waste money just work out and diet healthy save your money if you read the stuff in those pills there all diuretic plants and extracts basically all they do is get rid of watr weight not actual fat weight but makes you think your losing weight the energy they give you is from the large amount of caffeine in them of one sort or another so spend your money at the gym or like I do on golf you walk a lot and are outdoors I have lost more weight naturally than with pills and shots since June of 2013 I have lost 130 lbs yes I put back on 20 lbs but that was due to a surgery in jan so I quitt working out got lazy and didn't change my diet to lower calories that I wasn't burning off two weeks ago I changed my diet and stared walking again just ten minutes here and there but at least four toms a day and have already lost five lbs

For me weight loss is a 'simple' equation. it occurs when caloric (energy) expenditure exceeds caloric (energy) intake.
I have gone from 325 lbs. to 160 lbs. applying that principle. Not easy, but doable. I was fat all my life, but got highly motivated to get healthy in my 50's.
Healthy eating and increased physical activity would be preferable to injecting hormones, but that of course is only my opinion and as always YMMV.

Howdy Sara
No suppliments or injections. I have lost 65 lbs in 5 mo (back in 2011) by following a specific high protein low carbohydrate meal plan. I have kept that weight off by following that meal plan faithfully ever since. Should you be interested in the meal plan for yourself or your son I'd be happy to share it with you!

God's best to you and yours

I am currently using Shakeology to try and lose weight. I have lost a pound in 2 weeks of using this product, now while that may not be a lot of weight I do have a lot more energy and feel healthier then I have ever felt. I am a T1D and have had it for 31 years (my whole life)

Okay there you go you are using a product that you purchased because people told you it works. So you are giving it a try. The good weight loss is 2 lb a week. You find that the shakes fill you up and give you more energy. Friend you are doing a good job keep it up.
