When it says someone posted to your profile? How do you view that?

someone here told me that if your hbA1c is below 5.5 for 5 years, only then you are allowed to see the profile with your inner eye. i don't even qualify, but i hope you achieve it one day. all the best : D)

I have noted from my Yahoo account that you have sent me a message on my profile wall. Since I cannot access my profile at all, I cannot see or respond to it. Would you be so kind as to "friend" me and I will accept. then you can post whatever it is you wanted to tell me on the DC private mail system.

Just didn't want you to think I was ignoring you.

The other way is to click on the profile pic of the person who sent you a message. They may not have as large of a profile page and it might be easier to find. I get notices sent to my email, so that I can find them easier.

Ash, you can (or should be able to) click either on your picture or on your screen name and your profile should pop up. There is a messaging system which is separate from the private message system. On that system one can write a personal note (most everyone can see it - so if you have something to say privately friend them (if not already) and tell them there. (Private Message is the envelope icon to which T1Lou referred)

A profile message often gets swept away by the volume of activity on DC, so one may have to drill down a bit and find it. You can also send gifts and hugs that way as well.

I said above "should be able to" because I and others cannot access our or others' profiles, most likely due to software and browser issues.

God's best

There is an envelope icon to the right of the word "profile" on your profile page. If someone has sent you a private message, that's where it will be…click on the envelope…if fact, I'll send you a such a message to see if you get the same notice.
