I get hot, almost like a hot flash and break out in a sweat. I see what I call a "light doughnut" and if I don't get something to eat and my sugar gets too low I get crabby.

I get a fast heart rate too. I also when it gets too low and I'm being active feel like throwing up it's the craziest thing lol.

Mandy, Is this like the game kids used to play: "I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours"? LoL!

The only time I had a hypo (40 mg/dl) I can't even remember what caused me to check my BG levels, it was so long ago.

Sorry I can't tell you more about it.

God's best to you and yours

If I'm awake I get what's called Tachycardia ( fast heart rate) and my mouth goes numb, while the room spins.
If I'm asleep, I wake up sweating bullets from some of the most insanely vivid food dreams( example- I could be dreaming about wanting a cherry flavored tootsie pop)

I was dreaming one night that something was wrong with my blood sugar and I needed to wake up and check it. When I finally woke up and checked it was in the 40's!!

I don't have that problem. I had a cherry flavored tootsie pop Saturday. I was out running around and needed some sugar and a store I visited happened to have them in a bowl on the counter.
Have you talked to your doctor about Tachycardia?

He says its just my bodies' alarm system going off cause it stops once my sugar is back to normal

When I have a low, I feel light headed and I eat something. This doesn't happen often. If I had Tachycardia and my doctor told me that I would ask to see a cardiologist.

If you have a lot of lows, maybe a talk with a nutritionist will help you with meal and snack planning to keep you more balanced.
