I have cluster migraines, and I take generic Imitrex, and use a cold compress. It's actually a sinus mask that I bought from Khols, and I keep in the freezer. I also take Ibuprofen. Check with your doctor and see if it is migraines , sinus problems, or allergies. Of course it could also be from tension or stress. Your doctor can check you out and see what you need.

hello there. have been type 1 for 16 years.
used to have headaches in the initial phases but it was more due to sugar lows due to higher insulin doses. also when i exercised more than the usual or long time periods without meals. but with 16 yrs of "sweet" experience i have come to know a bit about my body and generally know when to have a bite to avoid a low.

an occasional head ache occurs but that is more due to the idiotic situations i land myself in and not due to the lows.

if u r having these u shud definitely talk to ur doc. i may be wrong but there are some brands of insulin that are not very well suited to an individual and may be the cause of headaches and other physiological side effects. this is the 4th change in the insulin brand that i am using, in consultation with my doc and feel better than before.
it cud also be a side effect of other medicines u may be taking so next time u visit ur doc discuss this in detail for a timely action.
god bless and take care.
