Hello everyone, I'm new here and I'm joining for my grandmother who's 70 years old. They've recently taken her off of her pill that helps keep her blood sugar stable and now we're having all types of problems keeping it decent. The numbers range from 341, 178, 135, 239. It goes up and down through the day and it's ridiculous numbers as you can see. I'm only 20 years old so I don't know anything about diabetes and blood sugar but I AM trying to help find a solution for this madness because it breaks my heart seeing her in confusion not knowing what she's doing wrong. What are some acceptable numbers for a diabetic to have in blood sugar ? Please please help.

I asked my Endo Dr. about the pills i was taking and she told me that the pills help stabilize my numbers. I also take three different insulins also. so the pills are important you probably should go with her to the drs and ask why she is being taken off the pills. what insulin is she taking?
