I did the class 3 times since 2006 to 2012. I put everything in a box in case I needed to look anything up. Now that I'm going on a pump I pulled the box out to find information out and I did from my first class in 2006.

I have always lived in small rural towns. I have never lived where there are classes available. There are not even any specialist available in my area, and very few doctors in my ins. network. I wish there were. My neighbor goes to the VA several miles away to take classes on how to prepare her husbands meals ( he is a retired veteran ) she has given me some info pamphlets once in a while. I find most of my info on the net and at DC.

I attended a few classes in the past. I gained helpful info pertaining to diet, medications, reactions to carbs and medications, dealing with bg lows and highs. I found that there was always a few helpful points to be gained.
