I usually listen to Christmas music and sing along when I put them up, but when I take them down, I only feel sad, as if I had lost a good friend or a part of me. How Bout You? And, do you know why?

I just mailed my cards today! On them I wrote that there were 12 days of Christmas for a reason (besides the obvious!). My sweetie is patiently taking down the decorations and storing them as he is far more compulsive than I, but I get to store all the kitchen-related stuff. I do put on the holiday CDs and sing away. And the band concerts (in which I am a member) that were cancelled due to Seattle's snowy December are being rescheduled, so the season has not ended for me, yet.

Unfortunately I didn't put any up this year. It was sad. But you're right, it is always sad to take them down, isn't it? The house looks so empty. My decor is dark reds & greens & navy, so the Christmas decorations always fit in especially well (altho they're beautiful no matter what the decor is). It's one of those things we have to do, however, altho I've considered just leaving mine up a time or two (LOL).

Lady I think we are sisters, seperated in Alabama. I didn't put anything up this year, not one thing. My parents house was like the Christmas Vacation movie so I got my fix there. LOL I will say, I was happy when it was all said and done that I didn't have to take down anything and box it up! Take care, Angie
