A fairly common problem is TMJ. It can be very painful, and cause earaches and jaw pain! My wife has it, which is why it came to mind. Have your doctors ruled it out? Seems like there treating you for an infection, but if not, here is another possibility.
Here is a brief link on the subject

I agree with Gabby. Did your doctor give you an exam? Make you doctor check your heart and tell him the medications are not working. I recently had a 2 month bout with an ear ache that was finally helped by taking low doses of steroid ( steroid pack)

The last time I had that happen I had to have a tooth pulled after the infection cleared up. Solved my problem.

I would be going back to my doctor and tell him that things are still not right after seeing all those other doctors and to see if it might be something else.

I was having some tooth pain because I have two molars that are broken and the nerve is exposed. So I got some Ora-gel and put some right on the teeth and took some Trammadol, fell asleep. I woke up this morning pain free. Hope this works for you. Oh and the trammadol is a painkiller but needs a prescription.

You might have Temporomandibular Disorder or TMD. I have this problem with the right side of my jaw popping and have pain that goes into my ear. I would suggest that you go to an oral surgeon for a check. Do you grind your teeth at night or hear popping sounds when you open your mouth? Then this could be the problem. Hope this helps,

Do you get cracking in the jaw? a friend of mine had this very badly and it affected her ear. I spoke to my chiropractor about it and he said he treats it and so do other chiropractors. I had a high palette at birth and that affects my teeth and jaw and ears. These folks treat without meds so try it.
