Is there a disorder where an adult watches preschool programing on TV? Me, I a 25, and I love watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Rrats, and I also watch Nihao Kailan, but I watch that to learn Chinese.

Folks seem to be maturing at a later age than they have in times past. Many of the kids shows tend to add humor for adults AND the kids. I am a big fan of Animea, so we are not alone.

Carry on my friend! You're OK. The comments below affirm that. Just make sure the ones you watch bring you joy & relaxation and not fear, anxiety or anger. My favorite TV show is "The Waltons." It lasted 9 years. It always leaves me feeling happy. "Good night, John Boy" or maybe I should say, "Good night, Nyu-chan!" LOL Tony5657 in New Braunfels, TX

I love watching it on Hallmark Channel. I also like watching Little House. That channel is just so awesome all over!

I love all of the things you are talking about. They are wholesome. They are just plain fun. I am tired of being intidated with all the war and car chases and violence. Tom and Jerry are silly fun. You know it is not real. I detest Sponge Bob. I enjoy the happy uncomplicated shows.

There's nothing wrong with watching cartoons. If that is what you want to do, go for it. At 56, I still watch some. Tom &Jerry, Looney Tunes (the older ones)…and don't forget the Justice League! What can I say? If laughter is good for the soul, I'm fine and dandy, just ready to turn a cartwheel! Lol

I used to borrow my friends kids to go see Disney movies. I love animation, not so much kids shows I guess. Though Sponge Bob Square Pants fits in now and then. I suppose if its a disorder, I will just add it to my list. LOL I am really wanting to go see the Lego Movie. I hear it's fantastic.

I LOVE Barbie movies! I collect them all, and all of the other movies like Monster High. I do like Sponge Bob too. But the thing is… it's kinda not in the kids category anymore, because of the humor. Just like Ren and Stimpy, and Rocko's modern Life. If you remember those shows from back in the 90's.

I come from the traditional ones like Tom and Jerry or Quick Draw McGraw...LOL. I remember when Ren and Stimpy came on the scene and I didn't like them at first....but in their gross little way, you end up watching them. Actually most cartoons were never intended for kids. They hid the "sin elements" in them for the adults dressed in kids stories. Man, the more I talk about it, the more creepy they sound. LOL.
I just love animation art. I find it incredible that you can draw one picture at a time and create such a beautiful piece of story telling.

I think the condition is called "Life"!, (but I don't think it is a disorder) I am 62 and like to watch children's programming. I do watch serious adult programming having to do with politics, but it is just fun and enjoyable to watch saturday morning cartoons too, Maybe that explains my warped sense of humor!

good luck learning Chinese! What dialect you studying?

God's best to you
James..
