Seriously, does anyone know where I can find some meal plans consisting of normal foods??? I eat lunch at work so I need to pack my lunch. Suggestions? I also need sensible snacks so I can stop experiencing "lows". Thank you in advance.

The best way to develop a meal plan that includes foods you like to eat is to meet with a registered dietitian. She'll customize a plan to fit your needs. You can ask your doctor for a referral. The American Diabetes Association also has a variety of menus and recipes at www.diabetes.org. ~Lynn @Glucerna

Depends on what you call normal foods. I eat whatever I want to eat in moderation. A nutritionist can help you design a meal plan which is what I have done for me.

The following is what I have followed for the past 3 years now ~ http://www.diabeticconnect.com/diabetes-discu... Please note I have followed that so I can manage my T2 without the use of diabetes meds. Also note the use of regular foods, and not some pre-fab modern style foods.

Take a look and tell me on that discussion what you think of that way of eating.

God's best!
