Howdy Diab
There is a lot of support and information available here on DC.

I know for a fact that I wouldn't be where I am today with my diabetes care if not for DC. Don't know your age, but there is a lot of wisdom out here from ppl of many ages. Please don't reject some advice simply because it comes from someone older.

God's best to you

Hey i just joined this site and saw your post. I know what you mean it is difficult to be a 20 something and diagnosed with type 2. Most of the information out there is targeted to people who are older or young people with type 1. You do feel alone and with no where to turn to. If you want you got a friend in me cuz Im in the same boat.

Excuse me for saying so, but the information on how best to manage one's T2 is just as useful to the young as to the older folks.

Can you tell me how the information changes when one is young, versus when one is more of a seasoned citizen? The only thing which may be a bit different is that we older folks have had diabetes longer and have ways of dealing with our emotions that young folks have yet to learn. And, please get to know us, we are all in the same boat with regards to diabetes.

And believe it or not, we can be awsome friends too

God's best to you

howdy again Anon
Please don't sell us "old farts" short. We've seen a lot of life and have a lot of wisdom we've gained over the years and the mistakes we've made. It would be well for you to make an effort to get to know us. You might find find that we are OK and have a lot to share with someone just starting out like you.

Praying God's best for you
