I never experienced them, and I am on the same insulin as you, but Novalog instead of Humalog. Quite frankly, I have never heard of such a thing.
But I have a guess at what you can do to help it:
Drink more water.

My arms and legs blew up a year ago…miserable. Doctor finally put me on pregnazone and it went away…very tough on blood sugars, but they prescribed it anyway. The other thing I do is put a prescription level cortisone salve on the itchy parts and Lubriderm on all skin (over the cortisone). Also, make sure you have a humidifier to keep the air moist in your house. Anyway, good luck.

I am type 1, never heard of diabetic rashes? What do those look like? And how do you get them?

They just appear sometimes whether it's because of over dry skin or chemicals in the water. They're just like a rash but bumpy.

Do you get them randomly all over your body ?

This the second time I thought it was insect bites but no one else in my house is getting bit. They itch awful mostly on my legs wrists and arms. The first one was much worst it was all over and my face got huge from the swelling I was put in the hospital this one is so annoying. Thank you for answering

Yep! I get them ALL the time. One on my side and it was super red and bumpy and it was painful to itch! And then it went away and I got it on my other side! It sucks! Anti itch lotion helps.

Do you mind if I ask you which lotions work I tried Benadryl and Caladryl and that hasn't helped
