Have anyone ever heard of a treatment that will help you get cured of diabetes?
Get some okra and cut off both ends, put in a glass of water, and let stand over night, in the morning, throw out the okra and drink the water. Must do this for five days, and after the fifth day you will be cured of diabetes.
Is there any truth of this procedure?

I have heard a lot of supposed "cures" for diabetes over the years, but this is a new one.

All I can say is try it and see if it works, then come back to this discussion and post the results. Like Gabby suggested "Just don't be too disappointed if it doesn't work."

I don't mean to sound flippant, but that is amazingly weird. If it was that simple, all of us would have stock in okra. Now I have heard that okra does have some properties in the mucus or slime of the fruit that helps with glucose levels, but I have not heard of this. It's one of the cheapest remedies I have ever heard of. Try it, what have you got to loose? Just don't be too disappointed if it doesn't work.

There is no cure for diabetes. That would not be a secret if it were. There are all kinds of scams that require you purchasing something as well as holistic methods that claim you can cure diabetes. Until that announcement comes from the Center for Disease Control, National Institute of Health, I wouldn't pay any attention to cures proclaimed by every scam artists out there.

I received this announcement from a friend, and I was just checking if anyone else had received this information.

I don't think that there would be any holding of this kind of info back, if it were true. One person would tell another, and another, it would then be all over the news. People all over would start to be cured. Finally, there would be a shortage of okra! Okra would reach new heights as to value. You would then begin to read about people who were mugged and had their okra stolen! Nah, I really doubt it. Of course we can hope and dream until a cure really becomes a reality.
