Hello all I'm writing to let you all know that I went to the doctors and dot great news the took me off 2 of my meds and I am doing a lot better in my eating.
And I go back this month to get my a1c checked again I will keep you all posted.

I have been on here for a long time and have meet a lot of great friends I tell a lot of people at my doctors office about this sight and I hope they check it out.
My at the doctors offices got me hooked on peanut butter and sliced apples and that was a big help to me.

My last update with my dietician, my numbers and new attitude have been well received. She liked the fact that I added exercise and now I am hoping for a support group to be formed at night very soon.
For those who either struggle or want to quit, please don't ! If you cannot make major changes make some small ones to jump start your new life style. Don't get me wrong. I relapse and get grumpy and lazy, but a 2 year old grand daughter will motivate the heck out of you!
Find your motivation and reward yourself… with something other than un-healthy food !! My next goal is a new golf club after losing 20 more pounds… Fore !!! ;)

Perhaps shorty, it would be good if you'd post this as a new discussion and you give us all the particulars of your situation and let those who think they might know something about it suggest tweaks to what you may be doing.

I am sure as with some of you, I thought I was all alone when it came to dealing with my T2. But with some really nice people on DC I have found the desire to get better. If I can help anyone in any way please let me know. Thank you again !
