I got the bracelet today. I'm not too happy with it. First, a paramedic must scan the underside of the bracelet with a program like red laser. Second the scan doesn't come up quickly. Then, a website login comes up. The paramedic has to enter the ID number and Pin number. This is a lot of work for a paramedic to do in an emergency situation. Also, what if there is no internet connection on the paramedics phone?

I think you are better off wearing a "Diabetes Type 1" bracelet or necklace and keep a piece of paper in your wallet with all of your medical information on it.

very cool. but WAY out of my price range.
going to have to trust that my low-tech post it note in my wallet will work

I thought people would look at the website page and know what this was. It is a coded bracelet that links to a website that contains ALL of your medical history and information, which is changeable any time you want to change it.

Nope I just got a nice Titanium one. Cost more than that even getting it through our jewelry wholesaler but it will last a lifetime.

I have not seen it before, but it looks like a great one. It holds all your information and is able to stand lots of activity. Not very feminine, but then you would look funny if yours was glittered. LOL

Gabby there is another kind that does the same thing but it still looks like it was made for a man. I think it is just me but I won't wear anything that looks like that.
