This video is the best explanation of what is going on with our bodies, especially concerning
Diabetes. The doctor has 197 videos, this is only one. But if you are interested in more of what he has to offer, simply subscribe to his YouTube.

I hope you enjoy this. He makes it so easy to understand.

You may ask why this is titled Kale, but if you watch the video, you will see why…

What an informative video. I understand how the body works and why diabetes happens. I'd like to try his kit for adrenal body but a limited income right now makes that impossible.

I have not went to see any of his other videos yet, but I do intend to do so. As far as his kit, I do not know anything about it.

But living on a fixed income does not stop us from trying some of the things we do hear about, and what we can afford to try.

What I have done, I purchased some Kale yesterday. I just washed it, tore some up into a salad, and ate it. I also wanted to try some Alpha-Lipoic Acid, which is supposed to be good for Diabetes too. So I took one 200mg capsule last night, and one this morning.

Not sure what has happened, or what caused what. But these are my Blood Sugar numbers for my last couple of days, something has changed.

Day before yesterday, morning Blood Sugar was 109, and that night 94. Yesterday,98. Then after I had eaten the Kale and took a couple Alpha-Lipoic Acid capsules, my Blood Sugar this morning was 80.

I am going to keep watching the rest of the week-end, but will go to the doctor as soon as I can get in, hopefully, between Monday and Thursday to see what the doctor says about it.

Anyone have any input, I would sure appreciate it. I do like the numbers, but not sure why they have gone down like this.

Thanks for sharing this. I like to roast veggies, and this past weekend added kale to broccoli, onion, garlic, cauliflower and green beans. It was a big hit with everyone! ~Lynn @Glucerna

It amazes me that there are sooooooo many good things we can eat. In the beginning, I thought my food was going to be doomsday! Now, I actually think I'm guilty eating all this good stuff and still losing weight!

It is funny how a bad thing can be turned into a good thing!

That's a wonderful attitude! Whenever we find the positives in a difficult situation, it not only increases our overall happiness and satisfaction in life but also helps us work through tough situations. I'm glad you're enjoying healthy eating! ~Lynn @Glucerna

We have an organic food farm that is starting up within a short distance
of our home. It will be nice to have access to the food that we will not be growing.

Right now we have to drive 80 miles round trip to get those special things our town stores don't carry, like Kale and Pomegranates! So we have to wait until this Friday to make the planned trip. We pick up everything we can, and don't go back there until the situation is required.

Believe it or not, but I have never had Kale. I will soon not only be eating, but growing it as well.

haoleboy tell me how you do this with the butternut squash and kale. It seems there must be a certain technique with the squash being a more solid.

my son males it … pretty sure the squash was baked and then he sauteed it with olive oil and garlic … might be wrong. I'll double check when he and the family get home from church.

confirmed that it was left over baked butternut squash that he sauteed with the kale. my son is quite the vegetarian cook . he referred to himself as a professional kale wrangler

You know we have a video section that you may want to post some of his videos in, if they are not there.

Kale is a super food that I used to avoid. Now that I juice a bit, kale is a big part of that and I have learned to enjoy it in salads. I grow it in my garden too, yum

This year will be the first year we have really been able to have a garden since we are no longer out on the road. You can imagine one of the things we will be growing!

I grow much of the greens, lettuce, kale, collards, cabbage, broccoli and parsley. Those are my favorites, though I don't like collards when they are big. I like them baby..they are like butter then.

We already like turnip and mustard, collards, cabbage, spinach, swiss chard, lettuce, and now we'll add Kale. The variety makes things more interesting.

Yes it does. I have a recipe here for Broccoli and Kale soup. You should give it a try. I like it a lot. Low carb and good for you!
