I am so extremely thankful that I have a boyfriend who is supportive and understanding of my diabetes. Whenever he is with me he helps me keep my sugar in check and helps fix it and just makes it better. But whenever I'm super low(like now. I'm drinking juice but dropping rapidly) and he Ian there I want him here to hold me and test me so I can sleep. I just need someone to take care of me when I need sleep as support.

Lucky girls! My bf has been helping too but he's been extremely mad at me lately because I been eating too much. I understand the unhealthy eating but I am constantly snacking. I just need to find another job and keep busy, maybe it's a good thing he's snapping at me so I can get up off my ass and be active and not a slob, just thinking about food all day. I been really moody lately because I am craving for cigs again, and constantly hungry. Ahhh. I get bananas and he does not help me eat any. Bananas are high in sugars and then days later, they're rotten. So don't bitch at me not eating healthy when u won't eat healthy with me. Lol

My boyfriend does the same thing for me. But at night we can't always expect them to be on their toes for us all the time. We have to be able to take care of ourselves too cause let's face it, we're going to be alone some nights. We just ought to be thankful that we actually found ourselves men that would never leave because we have diabetes.

Oh, of course I don't expect him to constantly take care of me! That'd be crazy. Lol, nah, I just wish he could be there on nights that my sugar just won't come up or I need extra support.

You are lucky that you have a boyfriend at all. My husband died 5 years ago and the only help with diabetes that I get is my dog who wakes me when my BS goes too low. Count yourself lucky to have a mate at all.
