We came across an article about a company that believes they have made a breakthrough in developing a functioning insulin pill (read the article here - http://bit.ly/1fpJtvB). The article states that scientists have been trying to develop an insulin pill since the 1930's but because the stomach acids digest the enzyme of the insulin before it could be absorbed into the bloodstream, the project was 'left for dead'. However this new company believes they have found the answer. If they can make an insulin pill, how would that change your life? Would you be more willing and able to take your insulin when needed? Would you be less scared to start an insulin treatment if it was prescribed to you? We would love to hear your thoughts!
