I have been to several restaurants and they don't have splenda .What else can I use. The pink or blue packets. I can't seem to get myself to drink unsweetened tea or coffee. Please help me.

I ran into this problem once too often. Now I carry a few packets with me everywhere I go. I can drink tea without it, but not coffee! :)

Why can't you put some packets of splenda in a zip lock baggie to carry with you? I have gone to dine out or to get a cup of coffee and they do not have non dairy creamer or Equal. I put a small container in my purse if I am going out to dinner or lunch. I never leave my house without my baggie of Equal and a container of creamer stays in the car.

I have tried it but being a man I can only carry in my pocket and then it gets old.

The next time you go to Wal-Mart, Target or a Dollar Store, look for the sweetener carriers. I bought one for my mom to carry in her purse when she used it. Threw it out after she passed and I am now kicking myself.

If you carry your meter which you should, put some in one of the pockets on the carrying case. You could also buy a camera case for a small camera. Make sure it holds your meter and testing supplies. You can put packet in that and carry it with you. Another option would be a small lunch bag with outside pockets. You can put the packets in the pockets and carry your snacks and water in it. As a diabetic who drives, you should always carry your meter and snacks with you.

Thanks Lynn. I have gone to diners for breakfast with coffee and had to go out to the car to get my container of non dairy creamer.
