Who knew!! I never thought I could control my sugars. It took 2 years, and a couple trips to the hospital for me snap. Now my sugars are in the 100's. My meter has only had 2 highs in a month. I'm happy/proud of myself and glad I got support of my family and advice from everyone on here. If your in a rut with your sugars, you can achieve normal sugars. Just have to remember what is important to you. Your health and family :))

Before I just didn't take or check my insulin. Almost died from DKA. Everyone, I mean everyone got after me. I have a kid. I have a husband. And I need to stick around for them. I don't want health complications in the future. So I was determined to do better. I just check my sugar, log it in a app I downloaded, and take my insulin. But I love to eat! So I check my sugar more often. And I have my family as my screensaver to remind me I have to do it for them. Slowly getting exercise in…
