I have it but not on medications. It stopped once I got under control. Now it only flares up if I have a spike in sugar. Once my sugar level is back to normal it goes away.

One of the frequently used over the counter remedies is Alph Lipoic Acid. It is a supplement. I take 300g daily. It takes awhile to work and it improves not cures.

thank you Irish, i will buy some. i take a lot of other supplements now i just wonder if they are all compatible or should i even concern myself with that. i know that supplements can be toxic if taken in too high amounts but what about how do you know it is safe to add a new supplement to what you already take. do you know about that? i can't afford a Naturopath or such and my doc knows little on the subject of supplements and such. thanks.
