I don't get it what happened to me, I am a type 2 but today after work I went out to get some shopping done and I started feeling weak and shaky at about 4:00. I thought this was weird because this is how I used to get when I had reactive hypoglycemia. I kept going on but I was feeling so shaky I decided to check my blood and it was 90. I rechecked it 45 minutes later before I ate supper at 5:00 and it was 130.
At lunch time at work at 11:45 I had taken my 500 mg of Metformin and my .5 or repaglinide. I had eaten Italian wedding soup, vanilla pudding( no sugar added, 60 cals.) and a couple of biscuits. at 2:07 I ate an apple.
What has happened to me? I still feel weak as I type this. I don't understand what is going on?

What was the total amount of carbs that you consumed? No sugar added pudding definitely has carbs. There is no doubt that biscuits have carbs regardless of whether they are sugarless or not. One small apple raises my blood glucose about 40 points or more! I have no idea what was in the italian wedding soup, do you? I realize that we are all affected by carbs to different extents, but the thing we have in common is that carbs raise blood sugar.
If you are absolutely positive that your blood glucose was between 90 and 130 throughout your entire episode, then I would be suspect of a different cause for your weakness and shakiness. Your best bet might be to call your doctor!

It seems as though, all of us are getting these low blood sugar levels! Is there something floating around in the air? Lol…what!!! Geez. I have no idea but my test finally changed in #s even though it was higher. I still haven't been feeling all too great but I'm coping.
