Well, the experiment continues. I feel remarkably better since getting off the artificial sweetener train altogether, now for better than 60 days. Still in control of my BS, no change in my A1c either, still 5.7. Arthritis pain is better, but not gone, nor did I expect it to, Sleeping much better lately, with my average now at about 9 hrs. undisturbed. I averaged 4 to 5 before this all started. Not taking so called 2 hr power naps in the middle of the day anymore.LOL Do not feel as lethargic, have more energy. Thank goodness, cause we have three grand kids keeping us on our toes.
Anyway, one note. I have cut my use of agave nectar, because I enjoy raw organic honey even more. I use less honey too. Seems my sweet tooth level has also lowered. Well at least my cravings for sweets have diminished. That's more good news.

That is great news. The best way to deal with the sugar cravings is to cut them back and make them less. Artificial sweeteners make foods sweeter and we crave it's a vicious cycle.

Thanks for sharing how you're feeling now that you've cut out artificial sweetener and reduced your use of all types of added sweeteners. It's always good to hear about people making positive changes in their health. ~Lynn @Glucerna
