On my pump I have a reminder alert set up! That way if I know I'm going to get seconds or even if I don't just as a possible reminder, then I won't forget! It's a great function! And for snacks I have reminders on my phone and pump as well, making sure I test and bolus! Setting up these alerts has really helped me!

Since I've been on my pump, I've had times where I totally forget that I even have diabetes! I know, that's bad but it is a common problem. I was working at the deli when I first got my pump, and I cheated ALL the time. Then I went to the doctor and my A1c went from 6.0 to like 7.4. So I've decided to stick a sticky note on the fridge and our pantry to remind myself to check and bolus!
I don't know what kind of advice to help you besides maybe setting a reminder on your pump if you have that setting, but I hope it gets better for you! Best wishes.

Do you bolus after you eat or before? If you usually bolus after, try and count your carbs before you would eat your snack and bolus before you eat it. Hope that helps!!
