Okay this isn't my first rodeo in the whole "college scene" nor taking exams however, this semester is winding down fast and its more stressful than usual. Do any of you (whether in college, recently graduated, or if you just remember this awful experience all too well) have any suggestions as to how to get through school and exams while trying to maintain somewhat decent blood glucose levels? Several months ago I landed myself in the hospital being diagnosed with diabetic ketoacidosis because of school and stress and clearly do not want to end up there again! Suggestions, motivation, or really anything would be greatly appreciated!

Am in a similar situation studies, Exams and demanding work responsibilities. I have decided to do only what i can, if anything beyond my capacity, i opt not to think of it so much. Relax and take one thing at a time.

I totally understand, I'm also a college student entering into finals week. And my blood sugar has been all over the place! It's always helpful if you have someone to talk to or someone to be your go-to for emergencies. Aha my roommates keep an eye on me and make sure that I'm taking care of myself which is helpful. Remember it's almost over and Christmas break is right around the corner! Good luck with finals :) you'll do great!

Hey! Hang in there it does get easier get the "I'm gonna fail this exam or I'm gonna do terrible" thoughts out of your head and keep it high! Put more positive thoughts like hey i can do this or i'm gonna pass! Once you have your mind in a more positive state its amazing! It relieves so much stress and if you manage your sugar with insulin just be sure with all the craziness not to miss a dose. If your really stress to that point try talking to your doctor maybe they could help you. i know i have to manage my sugars a tad differently when sick i have what they call a sick day management me and my doctor came up with so my sugars aren't high! But stay positive ! that helped me with exams
