Had waking blood sugar of 130 this morning. It was the lowest it's been in YEARS. Had a banana and 8 oz. of milk for breakfast. Last night we had BBQ'd burgers with whole wheat buns. It's a whole new life with dealing with my carb addiction. I'm so thankful for sites like this that I can come and share my life struggles and joys

Good for you. Keep it up. I find that eating gluten free and not eating anything white has changed my attitude and helped me with my carbs. I know that i must eat a lot of protein so I drink Premier Protein Drink in either chocolate or vanilla. It is tasty and helpful. Keep up the good work KimberRae. I used to love peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Now I have it without the bread. Try it you will like it.
