I definitely believe in the power of prayer. My faith in GOD helps me focus and not to wallow in self-pity. My faith in GOD encourages me to take care of myself, never forgetting He is in charge but there are still consequences to my actions (not exercising, eating the wrong foods, stressing, not taking my medication),

Praying is a good thing as it calms our mind and helps us to concentrate on things. It is similar to meditation but the only difference is that we pray to God for our well being and happiness in a belief that it will happen. That belief makes a human strong and brings positivity in his/her life. Whenever u r confident about a thing, u become happy. I believe as it makes me happy and overcome my difficulties and sorrows.:-)

Ruth, I believe prayer can help as well. I pray to strengthen my determination to make the lifestyle changes I need, and I even pray for my doctor's health and happiness :)

i to pray 4 the Salvation of all my doctors plus my church is praying 4 my doctors. I have a jewish diabetic doctor. I have been praying for his soul for a while that he will come to know the LORD as his personal Saviour. Ruth Tinkerbell54
