I can't seem to shake the headaches that have come and don't do away. and also my eyes feel so strained. Is this normal blood sugar too high stuff? I take tylenol for the headaches and it dulls them but they come right back. Another strange thing…during the night my hands or the joints in my hands ache along with my knees. I wake up feeling like my muscles have been worked out hard. Is this part of the process too?

Sometimes when I'm stressed out I can't get my blood sugar down. And I get the eye strains too. And sometimes I do wake up feeling like I just worked out! It's really awful.

Why haven't you had this discussion with your doctor? I get headaches only when my blood sugar is high and it makes my vision feel strained. I only have neurpathy when my blood sugar is high. I can't stand the pain. This is why I test regularly, take my meds and eat the right foods. I keep my blood sugar under control as much as possible so I won't have those problems. Neurological pain can occur because diabetes effects the nerve endings. You should be talking to your doctor about this becasue none of us can prescribe treatment for you or tell you what to take for it.
