I have been losing 1-3 pounds a week and I have lost a solid 45 pounds..but when ever I have severe asthma attacks… cannot exercise outside and can't seem to get enough movement like when I am out walking. I don't have $$ for any equipment but I do have exercise bands. I still do resistance exercises daily. Any ideas?? I can't go swimming either…very depressing…

First of all, grats on the weight loss.

I have a bunch of work-out DVD's that are helpful, ranging from 8mins to 45. But if that isn't an option, do you have stairs that you can walk up and down on. It may take numerous flights but work just as well as a stairmaster. I even went as far as covering a cinderblock and using that as a step workout. I start with the right leg going up first and then switching to the left. I think you can get my drift.

Other things that come to mind are pretty old school. Jumping jacks, lunges, sit-ups, push-ups, you name it. Do what you can at first but don't forget to try to push yourself to the next level. The point is to get the blood flowing and the sweating going. Listen to your body though. It will let you know when enough is enough.

Keep up the good work. Your are an inspiration to a lot of us. Keep us posted.
