Just a little reminder – we have a few members here from the Philippines, and one or two with family ties to the area. Want to make sure at the very least we take a moment to send some private thoughts and/or prayers for those in the affected area.

I spoke on Fri (Nov 8 2013) to one of my dialysis techs who has family in the Phillipines. She said the family she has there was unaffected, The storm affected the southern islands of the chain and her family is mainly in the north. I didn't think to ask how things were there on Mon.

I have been praying for those in that situation.

I have several friends from the Phillipines and the area is devastated. Please send a prayer, a donation or both to help the people living there.

What a disaster! If we are not in a position to help those that are victims, or not able to make a donation, then at least we can take some time to pray.

Neither my niece nor her husband have shared anything about his family being impacted.
And oddly non of the 9 Philippine co-workers of mine have mentioned anything about it.
