This is the most common sense approach to good health I've ever read. It also contains 3 videos showing & explaining the exercises.
Story at-a-glance:
After reviewing 305 randomized controlled trials, researchers found no statistically detectable differences between physical activity and medications for prediabetes and heart disease, including statins and beta blockers
Exercise was also found to be more effective than drugs after you’ve had a stroke. The only time drugs beat exercise was for the recovery from heart failure, in which case diuretic medicines produced a better outcome
Exercise is in fact so potent, the researchers suggested that drug companies ought to be required to include it for comparison when conducting clinical trials for new drugs
High-intensity interval training, which requires but a fraction of the time compared to conventional cardio, has been shown to be FAR more effective. It’s also the only exercise that really gives you an efficient cardiovascular workout.

curious any body lift weights ? we joined the gym few months ago my son and i .do a stanch weight work out for about 45 mins then do a 20-30 min cardio ..my wife does the cardio tread mill- bike

I always say that exercise is the most under used tool in our arsenal. I know I don't do enough. I do way more than I used to, but I still need to do more.

Gabby, I wholeheartedly agree! Dr. Mercola's entire presentation along with his 3 videos that show Dr. Mercola and others actually doing and explaining the exercises is an education in fitness. Special equipment is really not necessary unless you just want to spend money. Dr. Mercola was exercising using an expensive stationary pedaling machine. He and a trainer explained how to get the most benefit from this or any other type of exercise. Really, an expensive machine like that is not necessary but this one showed his heart rate and other things and was good for this video. Hey, I give this presentation the "Tony Award." LOL
