Ok. I have a silly question? What is the Diabeties pump and how is it different then taking Insulin? I hear and read on here about people getting or wanting one. I also would like to know can you be one one if you take 2 different Insulins? My next Endo. appointment will be 5th of Nov. If you all can give me some input on this device maybe I can ask my Doctor about one. Thank you for the advice and input. I really would love to learn about this and if anyone has one and if you like it.

It's the same as taking insulin, just a different delivery system. You inject a soft canula and wear it in that site for about 3 days. The pump supplies a basal rate, background insulin, and you adjust your bolus on the pump for corrections and meals. You will switch to using 1 insulin, only fast acting since the pump constantly supplies it Your endo should have all kinds of info on them, if they don't find a new endo.
