Hi there all,
I need some tips on cooking. I not only have diabetes I also have diverticulitis. I can't eat anything with nuts or seeds. This limits me a lot!!! I am finding that most recipes have some kind of seasoning seeds or nuts in them, not to mention fruit seeds as well.
Any advise/tips of cooking would be great. I would love some recipes too.

I have food allergies so I make the recipe without the item I am allergic to. For instance if something calls for almond extract I use another flavoring. I don't add nuts or seeds to anything I make because of being allergic to them.

I know someone whose wife grinds up his nuts and add a little of the powder as flavoring and he said he still gets the taste but not the nut itself and has no problems with his diverticulitis. Just a thought.
