I've been diabetic for a while now and my sugars are out of control. I recently started thinking about getting life insurance so my family don't have to worry about funeral costs etc. ( morbid i know but necessary ) and i found out that if your insulin dependent that your insurable . I was so shocked to say the least. My question is does anybody know of any insurance company that does accept diabetics ? i don't know if this makes a difference but I live in phila, pa. thanks in advance for any help or advice :)

I asked my sister about this the other day, she is an insurance broker, and she gave me the information of a local company that will insure diabetics. I would recommend that you contact an insurance brokerage firm (they work with many insurance companies to get you the right fit) and work with them to find what you are looking for. You can google insurance brokers in your area. I know that the insurance is out there, you just have to find it! Good luck!
