The reason I ask is because my daughter is a diabetic and when she before she was diagnosed she had really dark circles under her eyes and then when she got admitted into the hospital when she was diagnosed they hooked her to a IV and the circles went away. But since she came back home she has them again some days they are darker then others. Why?Is she missing a certain vitamin in her system.

Dark circles can mean a alot of things, age, not enough iron, smoking (it thins the skin). I get them and thought I didn't get enough sleep. Started looking it up these are the reasons I found. I quit smoking for 56 days and they went away. Started smoking again and they came back. I need to quit again!!!!!!!!

I have dark circles under my eyes when I'm sick. When my sister and I were sick e always had dark circles under our eyes. My sister was a brittle diabetic from age 6. But when we were feeling good no dark circles. Hope this helps.

I have no idea what the problem is but I suggest you talk with your doctor. Your doctor should have the answers you need.

I also have darkircles under my eyes. My
doctor said that the reason for this is the lack of oxygen in my system. Well he
has me on 2 litrs 24/7. I have a portable oxygen tank I take with me when I go out. Talk to your Doctor nd see what
he says.
