Currently on Animas One-Touch Ping, doctor requesting I look at different pumps; what are some good pumps to look in to using? Thanks!

I've been on the Omnipod for 2months now and I love it. I had issues with the first couple of pods. My pump specialist spoke with a rep from the company and they suggested that we make sure not to over fill it. So once I started making sure that I stopped the fill at exactly 200 I didn't have any mire issues.

I've been using a Medtronic Minimed Paradigm pump for the past 2 years and just love pumping. (I have no other pumping experience.) The Medtronic pump does have tubing and is not waterproof. Why has your doctor suggested considering a different pump…what isn't the Animas doing for you?

I love my Omnipod. No tubing to get caught.

Are you having any pod issues? Have they transitioned you to the new system yet? I just received the new Gen 2 system. Not really liking the changes they made from the Gen 1 to the Gen 2, other than the smaller pod size. I've already had multiple pod issues with malfunctioning pods, but so far Insulet has been great on replacing the bad pods.

I've been using the generation 2 for about 5 months. I had one defective pod. Insulet gave me a new one.
