In addition to what Jim said, for some of us it was a blessing in disguise. Not saying I’m glad I have it, but it did change my life for the better. It’s really not the horrible thing it used to be, and I think you’ll be just fine.
Believe it or not, it is not the end of the world. There is life after being DXed as having diabetes. The RX is the same for all of us, eat healthy, exercise and choose your food sins wisely and infrequently. Wish you the best.
