If you are on the insulin pump so you like if better than injections. My doctor doesn't want to put me on one but my A1C last time was 9.7 which was down from 12.8 when I was in the hospital with DKA. But I forget my insulin at home a lot which makes it hard to keep control of my sugar levels. Just asking hanks

I love being in the pump too. I have great control now. I could not achieve good control with injections. The Lantus and Levemir just did not work consistently enough for me and I was extremely regimented with my diet. Now my numbers are awesome and consistent for the most part. I love the Dexcom too. These 2 devices have really changed my life for the better.

I love my pump. It has really helped me remember to give insulin when I need it and get better control. I did have to get pretty good control first before they would recommend one for me. But it has definitely been a blessing for me.

Do you forget your phone?
Do you forget to get dressed ?
It's the same thing you need it to live !!
They didn't give me a pump till I was able to keep my numbers good for 6 months. You mite try the pump school at Medtronic' this will help you understand what your getting in to with a pump.
