I was diagnosed with diabetes about ten years ago. My blood sugars where completely out of control. Shortly after that I woke up with a condition called Bell's Palsy. For those of you who are unaware of what this is, its paralysis of one side of the face. At that time my left side was affected. Now, nine years later, my right side has been affected. My blood sugars have never really been under control. I'm wondering if anybody has had this happen to them and if they have been told that the cause could be linked to diabetes? I'm currently undergoing chiropractic and acupuncture to treat it and its working quite well. I'm also getting my blood sugars down to acceptable levels.
