I'm curious. I know I have some songs that can get me through. I love Imagine Dragons and Fun. How has this song helped you? Did it help you with tough times going on with diabetes? I'd love to know! :)

Anything that makes me get up and dance in my kitchen, especially on food prep day (Monday am)…I am a country girl at heart…if I can feel like dancing, I can get through the down moments, not to mention that dancing is excercise.

Check out the discussion "What Song Are You Listening to Right Now" here on DC. You'll find many, many song titles and links to songs on Youtube. I like a variety of song types, some serious, some humorous, some instrumentals and some in languages I don't understand (I just like their sound). Check out that discussion and you may be stuck there for hours or even days. Here are 2 examples of humor:
Billy Edd Wheeler - Ode to the Little Brown Shack Out Back
The Carlisles - No Help Wanted

Laughter has a very positive effect on your overall well being.

It's not a song but certain artists always make me feel better. Neil Young, James Taylor, or Tom Petty. I think my age is showing lol!

I usually listen to bo burnham. I love anything comedy and he lifts my spirits. I usually listen to him when i have to do a set change. Nerds or words, words, words by him are my favs.

Whenever I am having a bad day or a tough time I listen to "in the middle" by Jimmy Eat World. It goes well perfect with almost any tough situation. "It just takes some time, little girl you're in the middle of the ride.
Everything (everything) will be just fine, everything (everything) will be alright (alright)."
It's true, everything WILL be alright :)
