So I have an appointment to get my tattoo. I want to get the diabetes Ribbon. However I am a little confused as to which one is the Type 1 diabetes ribbon. Can anyone help me? I'd really appreciate it! :)

I so want to get a medical alert tattoo! Just waiting until I can afford it. I Would love to see pics when it's done. :-)

I'll for sure post pictures! :) I did more research and I am going to get the blue circle as it is the official international symbol for diabetes! :)

Yes, the blue circle is the international symbol. This is also the focus of the November international diabetic day. I like that symbol.

I think the gray ribbon is for all types.

Yes, a gray ribbon with a red blood drop in it can also be used to represent all diabetics. As far as I am aware, there is not a separate one for the different types.
