For those with pumps, how long do they last? Ive had mine two years and it seems to be getting slow. This is my first one so I am not sure when I need to start looking into getting a new one.

It is still working but I just noticed that it is getting sluggish. I guess what I am wondering is how you know it is time to get a new pump. Is it when it stops delivering insulin or shuts off…

I have an Animas IR1250 that is about 7 years old. Up until about a year and a half ago, I was still using it with no problems. Worked like it did the first day I got it… I am now using an Omni Pod system and it's also working well after the first year, no issues so far.

I'm still using my first pump which is a Medtronic Paradigm 722. I've had it for 4 years and 7 months. It slowed down a little after the 3 year mark but still works just fine. I don't have a cgm paired with my pump. Mine had a 4 year warranty, you may see if your pump is still covered.
