Hey guys, have any of you ever tried asking diabetes medical questions to doctors online? I recently ran across a site called and they allow you to ask doctors questions for free, like this post by a fellow diabetic:

My wife tried it once for stomach pain and the docs got back to her in a few hours with a response. The doctors seem like legit US practicing physicians, but I've yet to try the service for diabetes. Was wondering if anyone else have tried it before and what experience has been like? Has it helped anyone resolve any questions? Thanks.

I think those services are great. However, you do need to take into consideration that they may not know your particular situation so take their advice with a grain of salt.

We actually have an ask the expert section here on this site too which is very similar. You can ask a question to our group of experts from Joslin that consists of a dietitian, doctor and CDE. They are pretty good at getting back to you and have a vast knowledge of diabetes. You can check it out by clicking on the ask the expert tab near the top of the screen in the navigation toolbar.
