Newly diagnosed T2, I didn't even know where to classify the discussion. I have lots of questions. Here is my question of the day from me to all of you awesome people:
Is it ok to drink sugar free energy drinks? Are there some that are ok and others that I should avoid at all costs?

Help please, Mahalo nui loa.

Not sure what it will do to your numbers but from a cardiac standpoint, energy drinks are really bad for you.

I found that the sugar-free energy drinks really did a number on my stomach. They gave me horrible stomach cramps, gas, and indigestion. I think it might have been the sugar substitute they use.

Just my experience when using them – they really messed with my numbers, the energy boosts were unpredictable, and the after-effects (crash) weren’t worth the benefits. I found it easier to just use food as an energy source. Again, just my experience.

I drink the white canned monsters. It has 2 carbs and no sugar. Energy drinks are not ok though for everyone, in moderation of course it never hurts to treat yourself. And I pay 2.67 with tax usually. Other places its 2.15
