I have a question I am on insulin and medication and I have been doing crossfit for three and a half months now. I am losing weight and I have lost a lot of inches. My problem is that now I have a lot of low blood sugars. I have not gone back to the doctors since I started doing this. She knows I have started this and wanted to wait for three months before testing my A1C again. Should I call and make an appointment to see where I stand?

Thank you everyone I went to the doctors yesterday to get checked and I am still on insulin but she has lowered my medication. So we are going to see how my blood sugars do with that. But the good news is my A1C is at 6.9! Last time she checked it I was at a 9.7. So I am very excited that my hemoglobin is within normal range range.

If you're just worried about your A1C there is an at home testing kit by Bayer, I found at Walgreens. It isn't cheap but it is cheaper than a doctors appointment!

I agree with the others. Get into your doctor and have a check up done. That great you have taken of that weight. I need to lose about 60l lbs to get a healthier weight

Yes, see your doctor. As you lose more and more weight, your body isn't as insulin resistant as it was at a heavier weight.
